Well, this past Saturday I signed up for a real challenge – to ride in the “America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride!” The ride which will occur on June 5, 2011 will take me around Lake Tahoe with an out and back loop to Donner. The total elevation gain is over 1,100 feet, with a grueling 800′ climb over a span of seven miles!

I have begun training and look forward to checking another thing off my “bucket list!”
The greatest part of this ride though is the purpose of it. I have joined the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training to complete the ride and raise $10,000 dollars for blood cancer research!
